Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We don’t know Lucy's exact birthday or age since her original owner never gave us or the foster - she had placed an ad about her on Facebook - Lucy’s (previously named Sassy) records. However, when we took her to the vet, they estimated that she was about a year old at the time - she's around nine now but certainly does look/act like it. She has no health issues, is spayed, and is a perfectly energetic dog.
She's very affectionate, playful, alert, and a little bratty. She loves going on walks and toys, isn’t too fond of going on drives or baths, & a major “People Poochie.”
She CAN be aggressive/jealous towards other dogs, so no roommates for her!
We’re looking for a new forever home for her because, unfortunately, between work (we all work), we don’t have the time to give her the proper attention and physical activity she needs. We want to make sure she gets the best quality of life, and being stuck in the house all day isn’t fair for her.
