This pretty pup is Shelby!

Shelby is a 2 year old Cairn Terrier/Maltese mix (best guess) who weighs 14 lbs.

Shelby is a happy playful girl who loves affection. She enjoys running around the yard, playing with the resident pups, and then cuddling on the sofa.

She’s loving her new toys and treats at her foster home!

She rides well in the car and loves being with her person.
She would love a family that is home more than away and another playful pup would be a bonus (she has a good amount of energy- video in comments).

Adoption fee of $295 includes capstar (as needed), spay, microchip, deworming, DHLPP vaccination, rabies vaccination, bordetella nose spray, heartworm test (she’s negative), first month of flea/heartworm preventative and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption.

Fosters and founder will review the applications and choose the best fit for the dog.

Meet the Pet

Typically come to foster's or founder's home to meet the dog, bring any other dog that might be a fur sibling, etc.

Once we receive your application, it will be sent to the family that is fostering the pup you are interested in.
They will review it and if they feel it is a good match, they will reach out to you with any additional questions they may have and/or to schedule a meet.

If the foster and potential adopter both feel like it is a good match, the adoption process can be completed by filling out the adoption contract and paying the adoption donation.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3 rescue located near Dallas, TX. We rescue pups from high kill/overcrowded shelters around the DFW area and also take in dumped dogs, strays and owner surrenders. We provide all of them with necessary veterinary care and then place them into loving foster homes until the perfect furever home is found for them (we do not have a boarding facility).

We will also educate the community on the importance of spaying and neutering their animals, along with other necessary annual vaccines and monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. This will include providing low cost/no cost locations around the area that they can utilize.
