My name is Sophie!

I took on responsibility of Sophie because a family friend’s young wife died suddenly, leaving him grieving with an active 3 yr old daughter and Sophie. Their house will be sold and they are staying with family until everything settles. Sophie is a lovely dog, doesn’t wander, comes when called and has bonded with me quickly. Don’t have shot records and she probably has Cushing syndrome(drinks/ pees ALOT so needs to be let out often). She is the runt of 16 so is food aggressive… needs to be the only dog or keep her separated. We have a 21 mo old German Shepherd who just wants to play, got out of her pen and kept “poking the bear”. Sophie was good, kept coming back to me, but finally did react and latched on to her ear. We got them apart and our dog is ok. I have posted on FB and reached out to 15 different orgs. I am 66, work FT, have 3 grandsons and my youngest son that I care for, 4 cats and our dog. I’ve quickly gotten attached but am strapped. She needs a loving home. Please help
