My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cody and Chess, two adorable kittens who were found at a KAR foster's house over the summer. They are seeking a warm lap and comfortable home to call their own over the holidays. Meet Cody, a slightly shy, white and tabby boy with a loud purr and curious personality. He loves to be close to his sister and watch as she explores new toys while he builds his own confidence to play. This cuddle bug loves to be pet and is still working on getting comfortable with being held. Both Cody and his sister, Chess are healthy, litter-trained and ready to find their forever home. While they have warmed up quite a bit to people, they are still working on trusting humans. They have come a long way in such a short time, especially for kittens who only lived outside. These two are bonded siblings and would need to stay together to ensure that they both feel comfortable in their new setting. If you are looking to bring some joy to your family this holiday season, these two playful companions are waiting to meet you!

His foster parents are Tracy A.   The adoption fee for Cody is $140. If more than one cat or kitten is adopted the adoption fees are discounted.

Please complete our online application form if you are interested in adopting Cody. A volunteer will contact you as soon as possible.

All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue cats & kittens are spayed or neutered and feline leukemia tested prior to adoption. They also are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. All are given distemper vaccinations and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter.
