My name is Emerson!

Emerson is a one year old male Shepherd mix, who is so magnificent with his handsome coat, bright eyes, and happy grin! And as an added bonus, he gets the most adorable curl in his tail while out walking with you. Emerson is a very sweet boy who loves being with people, and he will reward you with his biggest grin when you are together. He is fairly good on a leash, and will follow your lead .. if he feels any resistance on the leash, he is good about quickly backing off. When Emerson is let loose in the fenced-in park, he enjoys a short jog followed by mainly just staying near wherever you are. This handsome boy is very smart and a fast learner, making him a wonderful companion for someone ready to give him the love and attention he SO deserves. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
