This 2-year-old German Shepherd gave birth to her babies in the shelter just six weeks ago, only to be placed on the euthanasia list along with her newborns. With time running out, a compassionate foster stepped up and rescued Freya and her pups just two hours before their deadline.

Freya’s love and resilience are undeniable. Initially shy, she quickly warms up to her people and becomes your devoted shadow, eager to follow wherever you go. This 65-pound beauty is housebroken, adores treats, and has a medium energy level that makes her the perfect mix of playful and relaxed. She loves nothing more than long naps on the couch after a day of quiet companionship.
