Autumn’s story is one of resilience and second chances. At just 7 months old, this Malinois and German Shepherd mix came dangerously close to losing her life, but she was saved in the nick of time. Now, Autumn is thriving in her foster home, soaking up love and discovering the joys of being a cherished pup.

From the moment she left the shelter, Autumn’s gentle spirit has shone through. She was so relieved to be safe that she immediately embraced the kindness around her—starting with a luxurious outdoor bath! Her foster doggy bestie has been a huge part of her journey, showering her with kisses and even giving her a thorough ear cleaning!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
