HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is currently spending time in a foster home. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please email fosterinquiry@arl-iowa.org.
---
- Really loves wand toys and soft ball toys; will also chase ice cubes around on the floor!
- Likes to be in on the action, and it takes just a little petting to get her purrs going
- Enjoys a good nap in any soft and comfy spot
- Has done well with young children
- Has enjoyed living with other cats and would likely enjoy a cat friend in her new home
- Arrived at the ARL very fearful but has made great progress in her foster home; looking for a patient family who will help her continue to gain confidence in her new home
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
