My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

File #24-265Current Foster Location: Barrhaven, ON *Please note that we do not typically adopt outside of a 2 hour radius from the foster dogs current location* Hi there, Im Carrie! Im your future best friend wrapped up in a fluffy, playful, and sweet package. My mornings start with a refreshing walk (snow is my jam!) and a delicious breakfast to fuel my busy day of napping, playing, and learning new thingsespecially if treats are involved. Ive mastered the art of belly rub appreciation, chew toy domination, and keeping my human company (bonus: I make an excellent foot warmer for work-from-home days). Im learning big-dog skills like potty training, crate time, and not nibbling on fingersI mean, who knew thats not allowed? I havent officially met other dogs up close yet, but Im super curious and polite from a distance. While I love being near my human, Im working on being okay with some solo time, too. One thing's for sure: I am not made for apartment or condo living. I am pretty vocal when left alone, and I need a lot of exercise to tire me out. So, that's me - a cuddly, snow-loving, belly-rub-demanding companion whos going to grow into a gentle giant. Lets make some paw-sitive memories together! Meet the Pet

Dog up for adoption, the applicant and foster meet.

4.

Home Check

A virtual home visit along with 2 reference checks is done to confirm safe and suitable home (one reference is a vet if possible)

5.

Approve Application

A call with the applicant and adoption team is held to finalize, and then send contract.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

Contract and addendum if needed is sent to the applicant.

Additional adoption info

We use a team to cover different steps in the process so that we have input from several individuals to confirm dog/puppy is a fit in the new family and we have the correct forever home.
