My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Iverson, a name as unique as her spirit, is a dynamic pup on the hunt for her forever family. With boundless energy and a heart full of love, she's ready to leap into your life like a joyful comet.

Endless Enthusiasm: A Ball of Energy
Iverson's energy knows no bounds! She's the perfect companion for active folks who are looking for a fur-buddy to join them on adventures, long hikes, and playful games of fetch.

Ideal Home: Older Children for This Playful Pup
With her hyperactive nature, Iverson thrives best in a home with older children who can match her energy and provide the active playtime she craves. She's a dynamo of fun just waiting for a playmate.

Selective Socialite: A Solo Star
Iverson isn't the biggest fan of other dogs or cats, so she prefers to be the solo act in your home. She's ready to be your one and only, showering you with all the love and attention you can handle.

Megaesophagus: A Treatable Condition
Iverson has been diagnosed with megaesophagus, but don't worry! It's a manageable condition, and we're providing her with a special Bailey chair for mealtime. It's a small expense for a lifetime of love and joy.

Adoption Promise: A Bundle of Joy
If you're seeking a spirited companion who's ready to add excitement and laughter to your life, Iverson is eager to be your loyal and loving partner. Her boundless energy and zest for life make every day a thrilling adventure.

Are you ready to make Iverson a part of your family? With her enthusiasm and joy, she's prepared to be your loyal and energetic companion. Together, you'll create a story filled with boundless love and unforgettable adventures.

Additional adoption info

Find the pet for you at the Adoption Center:
Angels of Assisi’s adoption center is open from 12-6pm, 7 days a week. Adoption Specialists and Volunteer Ambassadors are eager to help you find the pet that would fit best in your family.

Adoptable Pets in Foster Homes:
Some of our available pets are currently in foster homes. If an animal is currently in a foster home, it is noted in the animal's biography online. To meet a pet in foster care, please fill out a non-binding adoption application, and the foster parent will contact you to schedule a meet and greet once the application has been approved (generally within 24 hours).

Found the perfect addition to your family? Now what?
The next step is to fill out an adoption application. You can complete and application online (preferred) or stop by the adoption center to fill out a paper application. Adopters must be 18 years of age or older. If you rent your home, we will need to contact your landlord or see a copy of your lease to verify the pet policy. Most applications can be approved within 24-48 hours.

Taking Your New Pet Home
After paying the adoption fee and pending the approval of your application, you may take your new pet home immediately. Adoption fees may vary and can be found on our website at:
