On November 19, my 80 year old sister passed away. Since then I have been caring for her 3 legged cat Sasha. Unfortunately, my apartment's don't allow pets that aren't designated as support animals.
So far I have not been able to get that. I have one more possible chance on December 11. If unable, then my only other options are put her down or the pound.
Sasha is a very sweet, 14 year old cat. At about 2 yrs old she escaped from my sisters home. When she returned her right leg up to the hip was dangling from the hip. The vet amputated & treated her for infections as the only option. Since her amputation in 2012, she had become obese at 12.5 lbs. I now have her at 11.20 lbs.
Medically, she is spayed, has osteoarthritis, muscle atrophy, feline asthma, thachypnea, constipation, & mild dental tarter. I will get her rabies up to date. She's used to meals at4am & 4pm. I've changed it to 7am & 7pm. This is a work in progress.
My apartments don't allow non service animals.
