My name is Garnet and I want to be your furry friend. I am a sweet little guy who loves nothing more than to cuddle and hang out with other humans and cats. I have a bunch of kitten energy still and love to play with my siblings Copper, Onyx, and Topaz. I love my scratch poles and chasing after balls. I am really good at playing with toys by myself but if you want to play with me, I would love that. Kittens can be very busy and I need a younger cat to play with. If you have another cat awesome if not, I would also love to go home as a pair with one of my brothers or sisters too. If you are looking for a fun kitty to share life with I would love to share mine with you.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.

Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue of MN is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to finding forever homes for stray, abandoned and surrendered companion animals. We are a small, volunteer run organization.
