My name is Topaz. I am the strong and independent kitty you might be looking for. I enjoy hanging out with my siblings Onyx, Copper, and Garnet, but I also am not afraid of going on an adventure by myself. I am a little sassy sometimes and if food is late according to me, I will happily tell my foster mom all about it. I have lots of energy and love playing with kitty scratchers, toy wands, and rolling around after my siblings. Since I have so much energy I would like to go home to a tolerant young cat that would play with me or go home with one of my siblings. I love to eat and I am growing really quickly. My foster mom thinks that I will likely be a little bit bigger kitty because I am bigger than both of my sisters already. If you want a talkative buddy that will also hang out and snuggle occasionally I am your girl.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
