Small Paul was found running the streets but he is loving his own backyard and sofa time with his foster family now. This little Rat Terrier is approximately 6 years old and 18 pounds, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is completely house trained, and crate trained, although he is heart worm positive he is half way through his year long treatment and feeling fine. Although he might be a little fearful and wary at the first or even second meeting, once you’ve passed his tests with patience and treats, he will greet you with excited stubby tail wags and snuggles on the sofa. Small Paul loves nothing more than to spend the day patrolling the backyard, making sure no rats or cats have infiltrated the grounds. He is super playful and loves tug of war and lives for walks out in the neighborhood. He is also extremely treat motivated and would love to learn new tricks.
Small Paul will need a home with a securely fenced backyard (a doggie door would be amazing). Definitely no cats, best if no small kids, and he isn’t a big fan of men. He has a lot of energy to play and run around, but will cuddle on the sofa and even let you sleep in! Read up on Rat Terriers if you haven’t been around the breed. Please consider Small Paul as your next family member.

More about this rescue
The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.
Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.
One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer based organization located in Savannah, Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations directly benefit the animals entrusted in our care.
