Gets Along With:  With proper integration, Tuco will likely get along with other cats and kids. He is okay with dogs but would rather not. :)

Currently Living at:  Foster home in the DC area

I am Looking For:  My forever home! Hi- I'm Tuco - a gorgeous kitty. Guess what, I have no tail!  I won’t ask for much...just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my amazing self.

What My Foster Says About Me:  They have both been settling in very well.  Tita has been more outgoing but Tuco has been getting more comfortable with getting affection.   They both eat and drink well.  They use the kitty litter.    They both love catnip.  Tuco is the more playful and Tita is in need of more affection.    They seem to have normal energy levels and are very curious.  They get along with each other well.  Tuco enjoys cat toys and has been stealing them from Titas carrier. They are both very soft and loving!

TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats will be $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.
