My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spencer!

This sweet 2 1/2 yr old boy is ready for his forever home! Spencer has a shy personality at first, but give him just a few minutes and he will give you his trust.
He loves to run and play in the yard and especially loves to lay in the kiddie pool! Spencer enjoyed trips to the river with his previous family.

Spencer's ideal home would be somewhat quiet with a smaller family to fit his personality best. Kids 10 and up due to his shyness.

He is good with other medium to large sized dogs, male and female. Not sure about cats.
He is house trained, crate trained and uses a doggy door, loves car rides and pup cups!
Neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Please reach out to Paula at Valley Dogs Rescue with any questions or to schedule a meet and greet.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not own a kennel / shelter type facility. In most cases, we believe one of the effective and successful ways to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Fostering dogs allows us to help train the dogs to have good doggie manners and allows us to learn about the dog's personality and character. Ultimately allowing us to give potential adopters complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with a family and lifestyle. Unfortunately, when we are not able to find the most appropriate foster home, we will on occasion utilize a private kennel on a case by case basis.
