MEET ROCKY!!

Rocky is a young playful and energetic pup! He will need an active home, with someone who does a good deal of exercising, walking, hiking, running, etc.

He craves attention and does well with routine and structure. He is a people pleaser for sure! Rocky will do best with a home familiar with the breed and the needs of a Malinois.

He is good with other dogs, but has not yet met any cats or kids. As he is cautious, older kids (teens) would be best. He's great on a leash and is an excellent car rider!

Rocky enjoys his toys and does like to play fetch! He's a smart boy who learns quickly. As he is highly intelligent, someone who will challenge him in learning new things would be a bonus! He's a gentle boy who has a great disposition and demeanor.

He is a great security alerting dog, but as is typical of the breed does takes a little to warm up. Once he knows he can trust you he is a bundle of joy and the potential for this pup is endless!

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
