Tooter here is always ready to get the party started! She’s tons of fun and brings such good energy. She has a way of making everyone feel special, just because she’s always so excited to see you. She’s a super friendly girl! She loves any and all attention. Toys are a great love of hers. Se likes to check them all out and has a blast playing with them – even if she’s playing with them by herself. She loves it best if you have time to play with her though. Tooter has a lot of puppy left in her personality. She’s easily excited and very energetic. She’s all about running around and playing!

Tooter and her siblings (Gustavo A048024, Scooter A048022, and Dexter A048023) have been looking for love since 10/31/24.

Our regular adoption fee is $100 payable by money order or credit card. The fee covers basic vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, microchip, heart worm testing for dogs, and the spay/neuter surgery.

You will be required to sign to an adoption contract and other paperwork relating to the adoption of your new family member.

Go meet their pets

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday also from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are open Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm and closed on Sunday.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
