My name is Douglas!

Douglas is a Chow and Shepherd mix expected to be large fully grown. At six weeks old he weighed in at 11 lbs. Douglas is a solid boy, very strong and active, and with the look and feel of a snuggly teddy bear. Because he's a teddy bear, he's named after the Douglas stuffed animal company.

Douglas is young so his personality is still forming. He currently lives in a foster home with children and dogs, and enjoys playing with both. He likes to snuggle, play with toys, and run around in the yard. Douglas is doing well with both crate and potty training, but is very much still a baby so it is early in the process. He will need consistency to continue this training and a family ready to put in the work to train a puppy his age.
