Hi there, I'm Cirrus, a fluffy 6-month-old bunny boy looking for my forever home! I'm a curious and gentle soul who's still learning about the world. I can be a bit shy at first, but with some patience and yummy treats, I'll warm up to you in no time. I'm hoping to find a family who understands that bunnies need plenty of space to hop, play, and explore. A nice, big enclosure with lots of fun toys would be perfect! I also enjoy munching on hay, fresh veggies, and sipping on fresh water throughout the day. I recently had some hair loss, but I'm on the mend and will need Revolution applied every 3 weeks to keep me healthy and happy. If you're looking for a soft and gentle companion who will bring joy and fluffiness into your life, I might be the bunny for you!

Meet the Pet

At the shelter, adopters will be able to meet a maximum of three (3) pets per visit, with ten (10) minutes per pet.

Take the Pet Home

Adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adopters will not be able to submit applications to adopt animals in advance, or place adoption holds on animals.

Adopters will be able to meet a maximum of three (3) pets per visit, with ten (10) minutes per pet.
We will be unable to assist with pet-to-pet meets. Please keep your furry friends at home, adoptable pets will not be able to meet resident pets at the shelter.
Prepare enough time for your visit. Adopters should expect that it may be up to two (2) hours at the shelter to process an adoption, including meeting pets, an adoption consultation, and waiting periods. Wait times may be significantly longer on weekends.

More about this shelter

Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) is the only open door shelter in Portland. We are the primary agency responsible for lost pet care, animal abuse investigations and animal rescue in Multnomah County. We also offer dog and cat licensing, lost and found pet services, and animal adoptions through our shelter in Troutdale. MCAS is a division of the Multnomah County Department of Community Services (DCS).
