My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Glinda and Elphaba, a magical pair who were whisked away from home after their owner was no longer able to care for them. While there is tragedy in their back story, these two are following the yellow brick road to their happily ever after. Glinda is a cream-coated Norwich Terrier mix and the mother of seven munchkins: Dorothy, Pfannee, Chistery, Melena, Madame, Dillamond, and Boa. Her devotion to her pups is a true sign of her loyalty and kind nature. Glinda is the picture of charm and good manners- she would make a great pet for any household. Elphaba, a dark-coated Chihuahua mix, is a strong-willed mother to three pups of her own: Fiyero, Nessarose, and Oz. Her small size and spirited attitude would make her the ideal companion for anyone lucky to have her. Help these two grant their wish to be loved forever – Apply to meet one or both of these ladies below!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
