Looking for an adorable poodle mix? Amelia is your girl! Amelia has been the perfect house guest at her foster home. She prefers mellow canine companions and will bark at larger dogs, but coexists with them just fine. This lovey lady is a fan of the laidback lifestyle and loves to be pet. She likes to relax in her crate but will find her way out every time the fridge opens or someone is having a snack. She does get protective over her food, so to combat this, she dines in her crate with the door closed. She rides well in the car and makes quite the cute companion. She is a friendly little pup and is ready to find her forever home!

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.

We are a foster based rescue so unles we have am adoption event (usually hosted at appleton petsmart) we require an approved application on file to make an appointment to see whom interests you.
