My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! I’m Norman, and let me tell you, life’s been a bit of a rollercoaster for me, but I’m ready to find my perfect forever home! I’m a handsome 6-year-old patch tabby, and I promise you—I’m worth the wait.

I was returned when my person’s significant other moved in with their cat, and honestly, sharing space with another feline isn’t my thing. I’d much rather be your one and only! I adore people, but I need a little time to warm up and feel safe. This whole situation has made me cautious with my heart, but once I trust you, I’m as sweet and cuddly as they come.

I’m confident and love soaking up attention, and I thrive in a calm environment where I can feel secure. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and oh-so-handsome companion to share your life with, I’m your guy. I promise to fill your days with purrs, snuggles, and lots of love.

So, what do you say? Let’s make this forever thing happen!

Norman is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
