Ms. Ruby Red is an absolute charming girl that has had a hard start at life. She has a birth defect called enophthalmos, which basically means her eyes are too far set back into her skull, this caused her to also suffer from severe cherry eyes and entropion in both eyes making it very difficult for her to see and in constant pain. Along with these issue she had also been hit by a car as a young puppy, probably because she couldn't see! Thanks to a concerned citizen we were made aware of Ruby's situation and were able to give her the much-needed care that she needed. Now after months in foster care and multiple surgeries this awesome pup is ready for her forever home with only has a small scar on her left thigh, see perfectly fine and no longer in pain. She is available via ground transportation. She is located in Texas

We require a virtual home visit via facetime because we are a Texas-based rescue. We transport our dogs to Vermont once the adopter has been approved. Atascosa Animal Allies works very hard to match the right dog with the correct adopter and make sure that both animal and human are living their best lives!
We are a small rescue in south Texas working hard to end overpopulation and the subsequent abandonment of unwanted cats and dogs. Please feel free to ask us for references!
