Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Let me introduce you to Roxy, affectionately known as Miss Kitty! She’s an adorable mix of sweetness and a bit of wildness. Roxy loves being petted and indulging in tasty food, but she also has a playful side. We discovered her at a local gas station and decided to bring her home so she could enjoy the outdoors safely.
Since we have a few dogs with a high prey drive, we initially thought it would be best to keep Roxy outside. However, after witnessing a couple of stray dogs attack a possum in our yard, we made the cautious decision to let her stay indoors for a while. We cleared out a cozy room and turned it into her safe space. Roxy has always enjoyed her outdoor adventures, and she would sometimes disappear for a while before happily returning to us.
Now that she’s inside, we can tell she misses the freedom of the outdoors, but we worry about her safety with all the strays in our neighborhood. We have learned that she absolutely loves toys, but she isn't a huge fan of dogs. Roxy is spayed and microchipped, and sadly, no owner was ever found. She is such a sweetheart, although she can occasionally surprise us with a playful "attack" or two! We are working on that, and we believe it's all in good fun rather than aggression. Roxy is truly a joy, and we can’t wait to find her a forever home that can love her the way she deserves!
We’d love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out for more information or to set up a friendly meet-and-greet with this sweet girl. We can’t wait to connect!

More about this rescue
We are just 2 people that don't have the heart to leave a dog behind when it's at risk of being injured or worse. So, we help the dogs that we can with the bare minimum of what we have to give. Our mission right now is to find amazing homes and better the lives that we come across, which is usually many. The quicker we get our fosters adopted, the more we can help! We usually have between 10 - 20 dogs on our property at a time so we have a variety of beautiful furbabies to choose from! Please help support us to help get more babies off the street ❤️
