Atticus Pop is the purr-fect mix of playful energy and snuggly affection. This little tabby was found as a newborn in a neighbor's garage and lovingly raised in a foster home, where he’s thrived under the care of humans and other cats.

Personality Highlights:
Playful: Atticus loves to zoom around, chase toys, and wrestle with feline friends.
Cuddly: At bedtime, you’ll find him snuggled up with his favorite person—he’s a loyal little lovebug.
Social: Raised with three older cats and another kitten, he adores feline companionship and would love a home with a buddy to share his adventures.

Living Style:
Kid-Friendly: Has done well with children (including a 6-year-old foster sibling).
Dog Potential: While he hasn’t met dogs yet, he’s young and adaptable, making him a great candidate for a dog-friendly home with proper introductions.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
