My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m a sweet, silly, and smart boy who was found running loose in my neighborhood, but I’m ready to find my forever home. I’m full of energy and love to play, especially with dogs who are as energetic as I am. I walk well on a leash and listen to corrections really well. I’m also super smart—within just a week, I learned “sit,” “down,” and I was even working on “leave it!”

I’m not the best fit for a home with cats or small dogs because of my prey drive, but I would thrive with a doggy sibling who loves to play rough and have fun! I really enjoy sharing toys and even an outdoor water dish with other dogs, and I take treats gently from your hand.

I do have some separation anxiety, so I’d feel more comfortable being confined in an exercise pen when left alone to prevent me from chewing things I shouldn’t. I LOVE nylabones and puzzle toys, though—they keep me happy and entertained!

I’m a sweet boy with lots of love to give. I just need a home where I can play, learn, and be my best self. I can’t wait to find my forever family!
