Meet Lucy and Charlie, an adorable bonded pair of tabbies looking for a loving home together!
Lucy is a petite 3-year-old grey tabby with a gentle soul. Though a bit shy at first, especially in comparison to her brother Charlie! Lucy is incredibly sweet and loves rubbing against legs to say hello. Lucy is very vocal, and her affectionate purrs show how much she loves attention and cuddles. She’s not a fan of other cats (other than Charlie) and may growl if they come too close, so she would thrive best as a solo pair with Charlie. Lucy also has experience with young children, making her a wonderful addition to family life.
Charlie is a charming 4-year-old orange tabby. Charlie is the ultimate mix of sass and snuggles! With a larger-than-life personality, this cutie is aggressively affectionate—expect headbutts, constant purring, and a demand for all your attention (on their terms, of course). His touch of sass keeps things interesting, making this feline a perfect fit for someone who loves a cat with a little spice in their personality. Charlie has obvious orange cat energy! He is friendly and confident, he’s comfortable around other cats, though he tends to take the “alpha” role. Charlie is outgoing and rarely hides, making him a perfect companion for any family setting. He’s also been great with young children as well.
Together, Lucy and Charlie make the perfect blend of sweetness and charm, ready to fill your home with love and companionship. If you're looking for a bonded pair who bring out the best in each other, Lucy and Charlie are waiting to meet you!
Charlie and Lucy are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
