My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Ollie, the cool, calm, and cuddly tuxedo you’ve been looking for.

I might look like a street-wise kitty, but trust me—I’m more about chilling than prowling. I showed up at a colony, but I wasn’t a feral guy, just a sweet, chunky dude who somehow ended up out there. I think I got dumped, but life took a good turn because AHSEM rescued me, and I couldn’t be more grateful! Now that I’m indoors, I’m living the dream.

At around 2 years old, I’ve mastered the fine art of lounging. You want a buddy to nap with, watch movies with, or just vibe around the house? I’m your guy. Treats are my jam, too, so you know the way to my heart! I’m handsome, easygoing, and happy to be safe and warm inside—just waiting for my forever family to join me in my lounge lifestyle.

So if you want a sweet, laid-back friend who’s perfectly content with the indoor life, I’d love to meet you and find my forever home!

Ollie is currently at our PetSmart location on Woodward. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
