Meet Mia, a truly stunning long-haired tortie with striking colors and gorgeous markings. This 3-year-old beauty is as loving and attention-seeking as they come, always ready to be your faithful companion. She even oversees her foster mom while she works from home, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Mia is confident, cuddly, and loves being the center of attention. She’s easy-going and gets along with other cats but tends to be indifferent toward them, making her a great fit for a home with or without other feline companions.
Surrendered by her previous owner due to time constraints, Mia is ready for a fresh start with someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves. Their loss is your gain—Mia is an absolute gem!
If you’re looking for a beautiful, affectionate, and laid-back kitty to brighten your life, Mia is ready to join your family. Don’t miss out on this incredible girl!
Mia is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
