Meet Journey! She is a beautiful four-year-old Lab mix who raised her six adorable puppies and now its her time to shine and find a forever family of her own. Her nature is a little shy and reserved but she likes other dogs and people. She uses a dog door to go outside and is potty trained. She likes to lay on the grass and sun herself. She will sit for treats and come when called.

Journey is very sweet girl and enjoys getting attention. Belly rubs will melt her heart. She will be a fantastic family member, she will go for hikes, play ball and sleep right next to your bed. She does not jump up on furniture or people. She is good on car rides but still needs a little help getting in. She is not a barker but will let you know if someone it a your door. Additional adoption info

We require an application, application approval, meet and greet, home check, adoption fee and a contract.

2 months -12 months: $425
1 year - 6 years $375
7 years+ - $325

Adoption fee includes :

Shots up to date of adoption, wellness exam, fecal test,
Spay/neuter, Micro-chip and any other medical needed.

We also require to stay first on the micro-chip info for life and have a life time return policy on all our rescue dogs adopted out.

Unfortunately, we do not adopt out of state under any circumstances. We recommend that you visit your local shelter or dog rescues in your area if you are looking to adopt.

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
