Blackie and Rusty were surrendered to the shelter by their owner who could no longer keep them. Blackie is Rusty's mom.
Both of these cats are outside cats and great hunters. They would not be happy as an inside cat. They are known to be proficient in mousing and will include lizards and crickets in their safari as well.

More about this shelter

A not-for-profit organization, Monroe County Friends of Animals help the County by raising funds to build a new facility for our animals. It is called the Eastbourne Animal Center and has now replaced the old Monroe County Animal Shelter. They provide volunteers, fundraising events, grant writing and more. There is always a need for more volunteers. With a small budget, donations are a welcome necessity. We have developed educational programs to promote spay/neuter and humane care of all animals.
