Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Her name means brightness. Even during her first few days of nerves, we could see Sorcha's radiance. There is something about our phones and getting her picture taken that is not to her liking. She is much prettier in real life than we were able to capture for the internet. Sorcha is pure sweetness. She came to us banged up with small wounds all over her body and underweight. Sorcha didn't have it easy, yet she is delightful. She takes treats nicely and is getting more snuggly by the day. She deserves to feel the security of a happy home and people that love her.
Came in as a stray on 11/24/24.
Found near 4900 W North Ave, Chicago
*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
