My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET MOON! - Looking for a friend!

Moon is a sweet and gentle young guinea pig who surprised us by giving birth to two beautiful babies shortly after arriving at the shelter. Her babies have since been adopted, and now it’s Moon’s turn to find a loving family! Moon has a mellow personality and enjoys the company of other guinea pigs. She has lived with guinea pigs in the past and has thrived with their companionship here at the shelter, so we’re requiring that she have another guinea pig friend in her new home. If you`re looking for an adorable new addition to your piggie herd, Moon could be your perfect match!

Like any pet, guinea pigs require a lot of care and attention. It is important to familiarize yourself with their daily and long-term needs before adopting a new pig. Since guinea pigs are prey animals, they`ll need a little extra time and patience adjusting to their surroundings before their unique personalities can truly shine! Guinea pigs are talkative and clever, and make wonderful companions when they`ve bonded with you!

In order to adopt, we will need to approve a photo of the enclosure Moon will be living in before you take them home.

Moon has been seen by our vet team.
