Hi! My name is Preston I’m about a year old and about sixty pounds! It seems people keep over looking me because I’m heart worm positive. But what does that really mean? Heart worms are contracted from an infected mosquito. The only way it can be transmitted is through an infected mosquito so I can’t give it to other dogs or people. I just started my treatments and will be on my medication for about two months I will be activity restricted meaning I can’t get too excited which is gonna be very hard for me because I’m just a very happy boy. Once these two months are up I can be my crazy self again!I love everyone I meet kids and other animals. I’m from Kentucky and it seems that I’ve never been in a house before I’m learning things for the very first time and how to be a dog. Since being with my foster family I’ve learned a lot already! I know how to sit, give paw and lay down! Ive been a very good boy with potty training! Although I’m not a big fan of my crate if you give me some treats I don’t mind too much. I’m currently working on leash training because I get so excited. But what I really want is a home for the holidays do you think I could be a good fit for you?
