My name is Chewbacca!

Meet the wonderful Chewbacca AKA Chewy, a big love bug waiting for his forever home! Weighing in at a svelte 22 pounds, Chewy is a four year old sweetie who loves to be brushed, pet, cuddled…really any kind of attention. He is a chill guy who enjoys sitting on the couch, playing with his catnip toy, and making biscuits on his blankets.

But make no mistake — he is also very adventurous, more agile than you’d think and able to jump on top of tables and chairs. He’s also quite social; during his time with his foster family, he has been greeting all guests with purrs and loving headbutts. He barely needs a treat to warm up, though it certainly helps.

Chewy is litter trained and very well behaved. While he might take a few days to open up in a new environment, a bit of patience really does pay off! Within just a week of his stay as a foster, he became the undisputed king of the house. Chewy is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. The doc has deemed him healthy despite being a hefty boy. He would do fine in a house with kids or other pets, but would also be a great companion for anyone with a more stay at home lifestyle. 

Vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. Neutered, FeLV / FIV negative, and microchipped.

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
