My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet IRiS! Those capitals in IRiS's name are no mistake. This beautiful cat was rescued on tax day along with her three kittens. She wasn't feeling her best when STH got her, and wasn't producing enough milk for her littles. Her foster mom stepped in to bottle feed them while IRiS got better. She then was able to nurse and raise them. Just as her kittens were old enough to be weaned, our rescue was contacted to help 6 kittens less than 24-hours old whose mom died giving birth to them. They were given to IRiS in hopes she would be a surrogate. She did accept them and raise them too! Needless to say this is one great cat who now is looking for her forever home. If you're looking for two cats, she still has one of her kittens in the same foster home. His name is Hewitt. They would make a great pair! To learn more about IRiS, please email us at info@sheltertohome.com.**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**December 5, 2024, 11:21 pm
