My name is Mikko!

Animal Profile: Mikko is an adorable chihuahua mix who is estimated to be around 2 years old and roughly 10lbs. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in CA and has now safely arrived to his foster home in Seattle. 

Foster Update: Meet Mikko! His foster family shares, “ Mikko is super sweet and friendly with all people. He loves to cuddle, will gladly hop into your lap if you let him, and happy to say hello to everyone he meets. He’ll greet you with the cutest little kisses to say hi.  Mikko sleeps great through the night in his crate, though we are still working on his crate training during the daytime. He is on the younger side, with good energy. He thrives with engagement and mental/physical stimulation. Mikko would benefit from some ongoing basic training, along with an enriching lifestyle to help meet his needs. He has shown some interest in wanting to play with the household cat, and would do best with either a canine companion. He may do okay in a home with a cat, so long as the cat is comfortable with a pup that wants to interact.”

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, andhealth certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.
