My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Nellie! I weigh about 11 lbs. I’m sweet enough to make your heart melt and well-behaved enough to impress your friends. I'm the perfect mix of cuddly and sporty. I enjoy the company of other dogs of all energy levels and sizes, but I'd also be happy flying solo. I'm friendly with humans as long as they don't assume they can pick me up when we just met. (As if!) I can be sweet and calm indoors, but don’t let that fool you; I’m also a bundle of energy who loves to run and play outside! You’ll often find me zooming around like a furry tornado, and I have a special talent for standing and walking on my two hind legs. Think of me as your very own Cirque du Soleil canine! I can be a great walking, jogging, or hiking companion. I promise to keep up. My foster mom has taken me on 3 mile walk/jogs and I still have energy to spare. The cherry on top is that I'm low maintenance! I can entertain myself outside for hours - running, sunbathing, and meditating. I'm potty trained, not too vocal, and hardly shed! If you’re looking for a playful partner to brighten your days and a cozy one to sleep with at night, I’m just a paw away, waiting for you to bring me home.

My adoption fee is $250. It includes all my vaccines. I'm spayed and microchipped. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
