My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jacques, an independent and quiet dog with a lot of dignity and smarts! Jacques is a mature adult dog with a lot of love to give. He's a very polite and gentle dog who is always mindful of his manners, and he's generally quiet - he rarely barks, but when he does, it is because he has very good reason to do so. Jacques is an intelligent dog who loves to learn new things and is always up for an adventure. He loves to sniff around for hidden treasures and explore his surroundings. He's a bit of a mystery when it comes to other dogs, as we don't know if he's good with them - he tends to be a little more independent and keeps to himself, so we're not sure how he feels about them. If you're looking for a furry friend who is independent, quiet, and full of love, Jacques is the one for you! Here's to hoping you can provide a loving home for this wonderful boy.

Indigo's Rescue Ranch is located near Medora, Indiana (Jackson County). We are located approximately 1 hour south of Indianapolis and 1 hour north of Louisville, Kentucky.

More about this rescue

Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
