Meet Lavash, the lovable 1-year-old Husky mix with a heart full of adventure and a smile that’s sure to melt yours! At 43 pounds, she’s the perfect size for a family ready for fun-filled outings and cuddle sessions. Lavash is all about affection—she’s a big fan of pets and cuddles, and she’s never met a stranger she didn’t like. She’s eager to please and responds well to positive reinforcement (she loves praise even more than treats!).
Lavash gets along beautifully with other dogs. She reads social cues well, making her an excellent playmate. Whether you have another dog or not, she’ll thrive as long as she has plenty of attention and exercise. She loves her walks and could be a natural runner; she's more polite on leash at a faster pace!
While she was in a temporary foster home, Lavash surprised her foster family with how much of a “lazy girl” she is during the day. Although she’s always happy to go for adventures, she’s also content with mental stimulation through things like chew toys and lick mats. Lavash has also done surprisingly well with crate training. Although she doesn’t love going into her crate, she remains calm, quiet, and non-destructive once inside, making her a great option for a crate-trained home.
Like many puppies, Lavash has a few areas for growth, including resource guarding of toys and being a bit picky about potty time (especially when it’s wet outside), but she’s a quick learner and will thrive with continued training and patience.
If you’re looking for a happy pup with a goofy grin to match her personality, Lavash is ready to start a lifetime of snuggles with you!
