This handsome gentleman is Algernon! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 11/26, and no one has come to reclaim him. Algernon entered the shelter with a friend who had since been adopted. The volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Algernon and they describe him as super sweet, friendly, and gentle. He is initially a bit shy, but he warms up quickly. He is calm and quiet in his kennel, and he sits nicely when asked. Algernon is hoping for a loving, forever home in time for the holidays. If he sounds like the BFF you've been searching for, please come meet him today!
Algernon is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 63 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and neutered; he will be microchipped upon adoption. Algernon did test negative for heartworms so that is great news! He is waiting patiently in run 48; his ID # is 6511.
