Wyatt Earp is the law around these parts! Just kidding, he is just excited to see other friendly faces. We think his initial barking was pure of heart. That really describes Wyatt. He is neglected, dirty, and starved. Yet he smiles and wags his tail at the smallest amounts of attention. Wyatt is even gentle taking treats. He knows commands and doesn't flinch away from handling. He is a really special senior boy and we think he will look splendid once he gets cleaned up and healthy!

Came in as a stray on 11/16/24.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
