My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Liberty, an absolutely adorable 1-2 year old old pup with a heart full of love. Weighing in at 42 pounds, Liberty is a sweet, fun lass who adores everyone she meets. Whether it’s playing with other dogs or snuggling up with people, she’s all about making friends and spreading joy. Liberty is currently staying with a loving foster in Kentucky, where she’s thriving, but she’s making her way to New Jersey mid-December, and she’s ready to find her forever family.

This sweet girl has such a loving and easygoing nature, making her the perfect companion for anyone looking for a playful, affectionate pup to join their family. Liberty is still a young lady, so she’s full of energy and excitement, and she’ll thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love, attention, and playtime. She's up to date on all age appropriate vaccines but will need her new family to continue with them, and have her spayed when the time is right.

If you’re looking for a sweet, happy-go-lucky pup to brighten your life, Liberty is the one for you. Don’t wait—apply for adoption today at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application and let Liberty fill your heart with joy.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
