Otis is a handsome Indian Runner duck who, along with his two friends Milly and Lily, was sadly abandoned at a water treatment plant in 2021. Thankfully he was rescued, and for the last several years he and his friends have lived together at an animal sanctuary. Unfortunately the sanctuary suddenly had to close, and Otis and his friends were brought back into our care where they are patiently waiting to find their forever family. These three friends are very sweet, funny little ducks, and we are sure that they will bring a lot of joy to your life! Otis and his friends are looking for an adoptive home that will provide them with a safe predator-proof coop/enclosure, professional veterinary care when they need it, and lots of love. Contrary to popular belief, a pond is not required for domestic ducks and they do remarkably well in suburban backyard spaces! We provide our adopters with one-on-one coaching, so if you are new to ducks or have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us! Next, we will contact you to interview you. We will ask questions about your lifestyle and see if you and the pet are a good match!

Meet the Pet
Once your application is approved, we will have you meet the pet!

Sign Adoption Contract
If you decide that this pet is the perfect fit for your family, we will have you sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.

Take the Pet Home
Thee final step is taking your new friend home! We wish you many wonderful years together!
