My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a friendly couch potato? Charlie is your guy! 😸

He is 7 years old and in typical tuxedo cat fashion, Charlie is a sweet, loving, well-rounded cat. 💙 His favorite thing to do is nap with one of the kids in his foster home. 💕 Charlie loves to be loved and will happily lean in for pets and cuddles! 🥰
Charlie is pretty low-key and not the most playful kitty around. He'd rather spend his time sunbathing by a window or just hanging out around his humans. 🤗

Charlie is dog and cat tolerant and will be fine sharing a home as long as the other pets give him his space. He can co-exist but does not want to interact or be too close with other animals. He does however absolutely adore children, and will love to move into a child's bedroom 😆 He won't pay rent, but he'll pay his dues by keeping beds warm and pillows fluffed

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

Visit https://operationfreedomride.com/ and click "available pets" to see who is available for adoption.

Periodically we have adoption events around the greater Rochester, NY area; however, we largely rely on the application process to best match people/families with available pets and then set-up a meet and greet to make sure it's a great match before finalizing the adoption.
