Rio is an absolute hoot! He has a big, lovable personality which is impossible to resist. From his enthusiastic play bows to his big noggin and even bigger heart, Rio kept us laughing. While he was far too excited about the world around him to focus on treats or toys, Rio made plenty of time for what really matters...big snuggles. And trust us, his snuggles are as good as it gets.

*Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL
*The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
*All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.
*Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
