Lucy Loo, is a beautiful, sweet retired kitten maker. She is ready to find her FUREVER loving home and live her best life. Her one ear looks a little cut up, but we think it gives her a unique look. She and her kittens have been in a foster home for the past few weeks. Her foster mom said, she can be a little scared when arriving at a new destination, but warms up to her humans quickly. She likes to be petted and will give her human nose bops. When she gets excited she gives love bites. Her foster mom believes she will become playful, now that she doesn’t have to be a mom anymore. She hasn’t been around any other animals. So if you have pets, PLEASE do SLOW introductions. She is litter box trained. She has been eating Science Diet Dry Kitten Food, she will be switched to Adult while at HSSM. She also, has been getting pate wet food morning and night. She loves it!

HSSM is home to over 300 pets on any given day, most of which are looking for new forever homes! Your new best friend could be waiting at HSSM right now. Our beautiful, 41,000 square foot facility is currently open to the public. HSSM is open for adoptions Tuesday – Friday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. No appointment is necessary to adopt, however, adoptions are first-come, first served. You must come to HSSM to complete your adoption and make sure you bring a photo ID, as it is required to complete adoption paperwork.
Our adoptable animals page is self-updating and displays ALL of HSSM’s adorable adoptable pets from “pocket pets” to birds and of course the hundreds of dogs and cats currently calling HSSM home! See one you like? Make sure you note your favorite’s name and animal ID number so that HSSM staff and volunteers can easily find him/her when you come in!
Adoptions are cut off every day about 30 minutes prior to closing and possibly earlier if volume is high. Weekends are busy and you may have to wait more than an hour (especially in the afternoons) so please be prepared.
