Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Harley's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Harley's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008210) to learn even more about Harley!
Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Harley is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org.
If you're wondering why 98% of Harley's photos are of her snoozing or resting up in bed... that's because she is truly an avid lover of sleep, rest, and relaxation! Harley might be nearly 16, but she's still going strong, and she's been no trouble whatsoever in our household with four other dogs. She's an independent lady, choosing to snooze on her dog bed most of the time, but she LOVES being outside and her tail goes wild with wags when she's in the yard. She loves to sniff everything, and sometimes after she potties she gets the most adorable old lady "zoomies."
Harley is almost totally deaf in her old age (she was hearing earlier in her life), which has translated into her not caring about the vacuum, car or people sounds outside, the construction we're currently doing in our house, the doorbell, the mad rush of our four dogs coming downstairs in the morning, and pretty much any other action....unless it involves a food smell 😋, and then she is THERE for it.
Harley spend her entire life prior to coming to Muddy Paws with one family. They loved her very much, but health and housing challenges meant they could no longer care for Harley and they made a very tough choice to surrender her to continue living out her golden years...hopefully with an adopter like you!
