My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Phoebe. She is the softest, sweetest, clumsiest, quirkiest girl. We estimate her to be about 2 years old. Phoebe is deaf and suffers from epilepsy (for which she is presently medicated and seizure-free). She will need an attentive caregiver able to take on additional health concerns. She is house and kennel-trained and understands several hand signal commands such as sit, lay down, look at me, and thumbs up. She loves treats and is a very quick learner. She feels calm and safe in her kennel and does well on car rides. She enjoys the dog park and going on walks or jogs. When out and about, she loves meeting new people and dogs. She would do best in a home where she is the only dog and can snuggle with you on the couch or play tug with you without distraction. She is easily startled due to her deafness and often searching the ceiling. When at home with other dogs, we found she can be territorial/resource-guards so we don't recommend other pets. She is so special and easy to love.
